It is me again.
I went for an interview on Tuesday, 6 March.
It is for a teaching scholarship.
If I am successful, I will be away for about
3 months and since it is a scholarship, I will be
fully paid. I also have to sign a one year bond.
When I heard of it, I was sceptical, How am I supposed
to juggle teaching and attending the course? I read and
and was glad to read that it is a full time course. I don't
have to do any juggling. I can concentrate on my studies.
I really hope to get the scholarship. I hope to strengthen
my pedagogy of the English Language.
I will awarded an Advanced Diploma in Applied Lingusitcs.
At first, I actually wanted to apply for a Certificate in
Integration of IT into English. However, after thinking
through, I decided on the Advance Diploma.
Raihana and Hasanah was nice enough to get someone to
relief me while I go for my interview. I am thankful for
that.
At the interview, they ask me to talk about what
I have done in school.
I talked about my Forum Page and Blog.
One of the interviewer asked if my pupils enjoy the lesson
that I taught them. I also mentioned about Digital Natives
and Digital Immigrants.
I was also ask about my views on STELLAR.
They also asked about my aspirations to take on
leadership role. I told them that I am certain that
I want to stay in the Teaching track.
After they heard enough, they let me go.
Now that I am reflecting, I don;t know if I had spoken
too fast!!!! Sometimes I do that because I am excited! He!He!
I am still awaiting the outcome of the interview.
Please pray that I get it. I really want to go.
