Yes! It's me.
I have been very busy.
Let's not waste time and get on to it.
The campfire was great. However, parents came
to visit their children. We had no drinks to offer them as
the kids had their dinner and there was nothing to give except our
precious chocolate cake from Royal Cakes. It was a difficult decision
but we had to do it. We gave our cakes and puffs from Royal Cakes
to the parents. As they were enjoying the food, we stole glances at
the food.... Low and behold... it was all eaten except for a slice of
cake. We 'salivate' as we thought of the cakes.
Let's now move on to the campfire...
It was fun... seeing the kids perform. They truly have grown
into mature and dependable pupils. The teachers like always
had to perform. We did our bit. Ms Tay and Mrs Kwok also joined
in the campfire performance.
At about, ten, we bade farewell to Ms Tay and Mrs Kwok and the parents.
Had our debrief and finally came the best part...
Mr Khalid and Mr Yazid bought us food.
We had our food and continued to talk till 2 a.m.
The next day, I forced myself out of bed and took a look at the children.
Bathed and packed my things to go home. In between, I caught 40 winks and
slept.
It was really tiring. I then remembered I had a meeting that day at 3 p.m.
Called Sarila to inform her that I was too tired to open my eyes.
Went home and took a bath and slept.
What an experience!!!!
Will write soon.

Yes, it is me again.
Hope everyone is well and alive.
Let's continue the story...
That evening at about 1730, went for a walk
with the trainers to decide on which route should
the pupils do that night for the night walk.
We (the teachers), collectively agreed on the intermediate
route. Wang, Azri and I went ahead (in the darkness) to meet
them at the quarry.
Lucky for us, there were trainers waiting for us.
The place was so quiet.
We talked and joked. About 45 mins later, the kids start to
walk into the quarry. They were scolded for the 2nd time by
Mr K for making lots of noise during the night walk.
We made our way back to teh camp at about 2130.
Had our supper and went for a debrief.
That night(1st night) was tiring, I slept at
1 a.m. after the debrief session with the people from
Innotrek.
I checked on the kids to make sure that they are all
asleep. I was supposed to wake up at 3 a.m. to do sentry
duty. The alarm rang but.... just could not wake up and
continued to sleep till 0530. Woke my husband up as
he has to go to school. Went back to sleep after that and
woke up at about 7.00 a.m. when I heard Mr K shouting.
Guess what?? The pupils too overslept!!! Ha! Ha! I was
not the only one.
Did not bathe and went straight to the girls' dorm. Told them
to hurry and took my bath.
I was so sleepy during breakfast. We had good food at the camp.
Mdm K, came to the camp with Nasi Lemak, I could not eat because
my group was about to go for the Nature Walk. I brought along my
brand new NIKE raincoat.
I walked with the pupils. The walk was interesting as the guides
painstakingly explained the types of flora and fauna found along the
way. Frankly, I went for the Nature Walk because I felt guilty for
eating too much. The walk was to last for 4 hours. It drizzled and
became heavier towards the end of the walk. Thank god for the raincoat.
I could not takeit anymore. The kids were just too slow.
I decided to ask the trainers for directions and head back to the camp.
It was still drizzling.
Reached the campsite 15 minutes later. Rested. The kids got back to the
camp only 45 minutes later. Imagine the wait!!!!
I am so tired now..... there is still more.
The Teachers' Shopping Trip, Camp Fire and lots more!!!
Tune in for more.
Bye for now!!!!!

Hi All!!!
Yes, you are right. I was not in school for 3 days
to attend the Primary 5 Camp.
It was soooo tiring especially after the first day.
Did all the obstacles course for the high elements.
The most enjoyable was the absailing. I thoroughly enjoyed
myself doing it. It was not that frightening.
The one obstacle that really tested my self confidence and resilient
was the pole jump. I have the pictures to show you.
I was scarry!!! Allow me to describe. It is just a pole(like a bark of the tree)
with stumps for you to climb to the top. It is about the height of a 3-storey
building.
What you are supposed to do for this obstacle is to climb to the top and
grab a horizontal pole infont of you.
Climbing up was easy. The difficult part was placing your two feet to stand
up on the pole. You have to find your balance. Once wrong footing, you fall...
no worries, we have safety equipment.
I took quite a while to get both my feet on the pole. The pole was shaking!!!
Actually, it was not the pole, it was my legs. Then comes the difficult part.
Jumping forward to catch the horizontal pole. Before I went up the pole, Yazid,
reminded me that if I were to do it, I had to have mind over matter. That really helped.
I did not hung on to the pole but.... only managed to touch the pole. I hurt my neck.
It was a big cut in a shape of a mouth. It is sooo big.
I am starting to feel sleepy again because I only had 3 hours of sleep last night.
Will continue tomorrow.

The weekend is finally here!!
Yahoo!
It has been a very busy and engaging 3 days.
On the first day of school, I had to clean and induct the
pupils. The next day was more cleaning and camp briefing.
On the third day, which is today, I had to calm the pupils and
prepare them for Camp on Monday.
Was unable to do any teaching during these 3 days.
We are going for a camp at the Dairy Farm for 3 days.
Some of them are worried having to sleep and bathe together
with their friends. During the Q&A, they asked so many questions.
I have not bought anything for the camp.
Need to buy some toiletries and undergarments for the 3 days.
I am particularly looking forward to the 'Flying Fox' and 'Absailing'.
I will definitely try them.
Might go shopping tomorrow to purchase the above items.
I might also buy new t-shirts. It feels as if I am going for
a camp for the first time.
Till next Wednesday, Tata
